Mechanical & Electrical services installations were designed and co-ordinated with the design team to complement and enhance the contemporary spaces, there were several consultation meetings with the Client/user Groups, who were going to use the spaces and each of them had differing requirements that needed to be met.

Full mechanical and electrical design including utility connections, plumbing, soils & wastes, sanitaryware, ventilation, air-conditioning, underground gas tank bulk storage, and underfloor heating installation. Electrical design included power, lighting, external lighting, emergency lighting, automatic smoke ventilation control, fire alarm, hearing induction deaf loop, intruder alarm, access control, disabled refuge system, CCTV, IT network, and PA/AV system installations.

Full Mechanical and Electrical Services design including ventilation systems, contemporary lighting installation other services for the project were designed and coordinated with the Architect to complement and enhance the contemporary spaces.

The MEP services are designed to comply
with all local, national and European regulations and
specifically in line with the Code of Practice for the
housing and care of animals and other relevant publications.
The services include a CAT 5 water booster set to prevent
any back flow contamination on the local water supply.
The facility is complete with a ventilation system to rapidly
change the fresh air in the kennels to satisfy regulations
for this type of environment.
